Hello! Welcome to our page, where I will share with you life’s unpredictable chaos while we are learning. The HoneyBear Gang has added such value to my life, and I love having the opportunity to share my tot school monthly activities to our amazing followers!
About Me!!
I’m so glad you’ve arrived. The HoneyBear Gang is where I share with you what interests me most, (teaching tot school) the sharing of educational projects and most of all some fun projects that we will create together! I hope you enjoy my site and all of the fun and amazing content that the HoneyBear Gang creates. We all need something to motivate us. Take a look around; perhaps you’ll discover what exhilarates you. Are you ready to be creative?
A little bit about me, if you already don’t know. I have a bachelor’s degree in human and family sciences with a minor in early start education. I have been teaching tot school and have had my home childcare business for 18 years now. I have taught at previous ones for a total of 22 years. I love the opportunity to teach toddlers and preschoolers in a Christian home setting and help them learn everyday life skills along with reading, math, and social skills all through the amazing world of PLAY!
I’m going to try and be better at updating this monthly, so bare with me!! Life gets busy!!
I believe toddlers learn their best through repetitive and hands on approach with play. Tot school is a daily activity that involves books, music, art, puppets, sensory activities that goes right along with our lesson theme and book of the week with age developmentally practices. We will begin our new year August 19th, with some new faces here. I can’t wait to get started!!

What a month of tot school brings!! Friendships, imaginations, play, learning and reading it all opens up a world of possibilities!
We have been learning all about ourselves, emotions, and our 5 senses the past few weeks. We have learned that we all are different in many ways but created for a purpose. God’s purpose! We are beautiful, smart, and pretty awesome!
I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings! Stay tuned!!
Sharing Box
Part of our 5 senses theme we participated in Kids in the Kitchen activity. We also claimed this as science and sensory. For this project we used our sense of smell, taste, and touch. This was safe to eat and paint!
Recipe: Easy Peasy
Plain Yogurt, your favorite food coloring, and whatever spices you have in your pantry.
We chose kettle corn popcorn spice, cinnamon and sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and paprika. We first smelled each spice and voted on yummy or yucky smell.
Then we mixed a different spice in each bowl and tasted each flavor. We then once again voted for yummy or yucky taste.
